Our Trusts and Estates attorneys are committed to the protection and preservation of our clients’ wealth by offering professional legal services in all areas of estate planning and administration

CMDB has extensive experience in estate planning, trust and probate administration, conservatorships and guardianships. We work with our clients to cover their basic estate planning needs, such as, wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, health directives, and property transfers. We also design and implement more sophisticated wealth transfer strategies that minimize taxes, complication, and family disputes. We assist with business succession planning, buy-sell agreements, life insurance planning, special needs planning, family gifting, charitable giving and gift tax return preparation.

We work with individual and professional trustees, executors, conservators and guardians, as well as beneficiaries and heirs in all aspects of trust and probate administration, including preparation of estate tax returns and accountings, and representation in court proceedings.

When disputes arise, our attorneys are very experienced with many forms of alternative dispute resolution, including serving as pro bono settlement officers for the Superior Court and as mediators for other local trusts and estates practitioners.

Our Trusts and Estates Attorneys are active in local, state and national professional organizations. They are published contributors to professional journals and lecture regularly in local law schools and professional continuing education programs.
